Spilt Milk - Drama Feature
Over the summer of 2024 I had the privilege of scoring Brian Durnin’s debut feature Spilt Milk. The film set in 1984 Dublin follows eleven-year-old Bobby O’Brien, who dreams of becoming a great detective like his TV hero Kojak. Bobby sets up a private investigation enterprise with his best friend Nell, but the disappearance of his older brother sets them off on a quest to find him.
The score is an interesting mix of electro, post-punk and classical.
The film received it’s World Premiere at the renound Tallinn Black Nights Film Festival and will be released in 2025 after its festival run.
